Best Buy Opens Up with Mobile Options

Just when you thought that Rogers Mobile was the only mobile company with stores and kiosks to be found in every single shopping mall in Canada, Best Buy Mobile comes along to try and compete that fact.
Starting today, Best Buy Canada will officially open the first Best Buy Mobile store in Canada. It will be one of many that will open up in shopping centres across the country. The new Best Buy Mobile stores will sell a selection of mobile phones, plans and accessories.
Phil Johnston, director of Wireless Solutions for Best Buy Canada, says that the relationship between the consumer and their mobile device is strong.
"And yet, the relationship between a consumer and the service provider is increasingly poor," said Johnston. "It's difficult for Canadians to get help with their devices, change service plans, upgrade handsets, and even understand their monthly phone bill. Best Buy Mobile will be there for the life of your phone, and address all of the frustrations that come up during the course of your relationship with your phone."
The Best Buy Mobile Walk Out Working (WOW) program will provide multi-media and smartphone setup and personalization that will include e-mail setup and data transferring. This will ensure the customers that the new mobile device is ready to use immediately.
Best Buy Mobile will also support all current Canadian wireless network carriers.
The first Best Buy Mobile stand-alone store will be in Vaughan Mills Mall which opens up for business today. Fairview Mall and Square One Shopping Centre will be opening up their Best Buy Mobile stores later this fall.
