Wii Olympics for Ageless Seniors

Just because we're all getting older, doesn't mean we all slow down. That's what senior citizens across the Greater Toronto Area will prove when they will take part in the first ever Nintendo Wii Senior's Olympics.
Organized by Lifecare long-term care homes and retirement residences, the Wii Senior's Olympics will feature challenging competitions in Wii Bowling, Wii Tennis, and Wii Golf. A triathlon category will incorporate scores from each of the three events.
For Wii Bowling, the Wii Senior's Olympics will also incorporate an age integration category that will see seniors teamed up with a youth. Seniors are invited to bring a young partner just as long as they're under the age of 18.
The seven-day competition running from Sept. 27 to Oct. 3, will let seniors play as often as they like with scores being reported and posted daily on the virtual scoreboard at http://www.ourhomeyourhomecanada.ca/.
As for prizes, trophies will be awarded to both male and female players who win first, second, or third in their category against competitors from all Lifecare homes. This will take place at the conclusion of the Wii Senior's Olympics where winners will be invited to an awards banquet so they can receive their prizes.
Also, first place winners at each Lifecare home will win a Wii Senior's Olympics commemorative plaque. The Prizes will include Wii game systems, gift cards and special clothing items.
The first ever Wii Senior's Olympic sites will take place in Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Burlington, Stoney Creek, Hamilton, Hagersville and Bowmanville.
