Casero's Personal Media Suite Goes South

Toronto-based Casero Inc. announced today that they're signing up with Cox Communications so that the broadband company can add more value to their premium subscriber packages.
Casero's Personal Media Suite will provide a way for Cox's High-Speed Internet customers to back up, restore and share personal files like digital photos, video and documents.
Seth Hogan, vice-president of data product management for Cox, is excited about the launching of the service that Casero Inc. will provide them.
"Our customers have told us that just storing their content was not enough, so we needed a solution to provide sharing and storage together in an easy-to-use application," said Hogan.
Cox Communications is recognized as one of America's leading cable providers and for their part, the people at Casero are thrilled to be helping them in the market.
"We think that backing up and sharing personal media is a natural yet critical service offering for broadband Internet providers," said Paul Atkinson, chairman and CEO of Casero. "Cox Communications is a great partner that shares our vision of how carriers need to evolve to remain leaders in their markets."
The Casero Personal Media Suite with Cox will include 5 GB of space, which is enough to hold 5,000 photos, 1,000 songs or six full-length movies.
Customized file sharing, automatic scheduling of content backup and access to online files from any computer that has an Internet connection is also included for premium and high-speed internet customers.
