FujiFilm Sets Sights for Discount Digital Market

For all of you aspiring photographers out there without the money to burn on higher end digital cameras or digital SLR-styled models, there are plenty of lower priced cameras available to you.
In fact, come September, there will be three more from FujiFilm, all of which will cost less than $200.
The cameras all come with 10 megapixel shooting capabilities, a 5x optical zoom lens, and a number of features ranging from face detection technology to image stabilization and red eye removal.
"Fujifilm prides itself in making cameras for every type of consumer, whether they are an aspiring professional or a young family member," said Paul Woodall, marketing manager of digital cameras at FujiFilm Canada Inc.
The J-series line of cameras has been popular for their small size and ease of use. The new cameras announced expect to carry the tradition with their 2.7” and 3.0” LCD screens and metal bodies.
"These new FinePix J-series join the existing FinePix J10 and J12 to offer consumers high-quality images and superior specifications at affordable prices."
The J-100 will come at an MSRP of $179.99, the J-110w will retail for $189.99 and the J150w for $199.99.
