Flip This Camcorder in Canada

San Francisco based company Pure Digital Technologies has just released the Flip Video Ultra series in Canada. Touted as the next-generation line of highly compact digital camcorders, these slim-sized camcorders are the world's first with on-board software enabling editing, organizing, and seamless video uploading to YouTube, MySpace, and other video sharing sites.
After becoming the second-highest selling camcorder in the U.S. after just seven months on the market, Pure Digital Technologies is hoping for the same success in Canada.
"Flip Video Ultra's sleek design makes it the camcorder of choice for people who want a stylish, high quality, take-anywhere camcorder to capture and share life's moments," said Pure Digital Chairperson and CEO Jonathan Kaplan. "U.S. consumers have embraced Flip's simplicity and convenience because it makes video incredibly fun for anyone. We anticipate a similar response in Canada."
The Flip Video Ultra Series incorporates a wide range of features, including a 1.5 inch transflective, no-glare display screen for clear, advanced video processing, and on-board memory (2 GB for 60-minutes of video capture),
Available now at Wal-Mart and soon at other major Canadian electronics retailers for $159.99, Flip Video Ultra delivers excellent video and sound quality, even when played on large-screen TVs.
