Samsung’s m530 Olympic Team Edition Phone Now Available


With the upcoming 2008 Olympics in Beijing, many Canadians will be looking for different ways to keep informed about how our athletes are faring in the competitions.
That’s why Bell has just released the exclusive Samsung m530 Canadian Olympic Team phone, a multimedia phone that also comes equipped with the ability to subscribe to Bell Mobility’s Beijing 2008 video bundle which will allow subscribers (for a one-time fee of $8) to watch coverage of the Olympic Games from August 8 to August 24.

In addition to the ability to watch Olympic content on the new cell phone, the m530 also has a built in camera for video and still capture, speakerphone and expandable memory. And, like other high-speed phones on the market, the new phone supports picture and video messaging, Windows Live Hotmail and Messenger, Sirius Satellite Radio and GPS Nav turn-by-turn navigation.

With the phone, users can view exclusive videos, interviews, check medal standings and text in votes for top Olympic moments. Screen savers of various countries’ flags can be downloaded as well, as can national anthems.
The phone is available for $49.95 on a three-year contract with Bell and is available in white.
